De verkiezingen van 29 oktober komen dichterbij, en partijen grijpen alles aan om kiezers te overtuigen. Afgelopen maand was de **hypotheekrenteaftrek** hét campagnethema. Ondertussen is de aandacht in het politieke debat weer verschoven naar migratie en extremisme, maar de vraag blijft actueel. Aan talkshowtafels, in partijcongressen en in interviews klinkt vooral **één boodschap van de VVD**: “afschaffen kost gezinnen 400 tot 500 euro per maand.”
Maar klopt dat beeld? Radar zocht het uit.
